This April, a serious itch and a strong gut feeling told me it was time to zero in on Warrior Flow School. I'm really grateful for the freedom our remote business model offers, which has allowed me to travel to about 10 countries since we started in early 2022. It's been fantastic, but I've realized I need to cut back on traveling to focus more on our business.
Traveling takes time. Even if we move slowly and skip some tourist spots, I still lose hours every week moving from place to place and getting used to each new location. By staying in one spot, I could gain back 2 or 3 extra days per week.
Working late is okay by me, but I still need enough sleep to function and some time off to unwind.
Warrior Flow School is at a crucial stage. We kicked off strong in 2022 and saw good growth in 2023, but now we're hitting a plateau. Adrian Molina and I are ambitious—we know our trainings are unique and impactful, but we need more visibility. Since hiring a full marketing team isn't in the cards financially, we'll have to handle it ourselves for now.
So, after a good talk with Rosie and Adrian, I've decided to stop traveling until the end of the year. I plan to "hide in a cave" with no distractions, work 10+ hours a day, 7 days a week for the next 5 or 6 months, focusing solely on Warrior Flow School.
After Costa Rica, we're heading to Southeast Asia, which we loved last year for its low cost of living, great food, and reliable internet—all I need. The goal is to push the school to a new level, expand beyond our current audience, and build a sustainable business that can support our team fairly.
I'm super pumped for this challenge and will keep you posted on the progress. 💪
