Entrepreneurship isn’t all freedom and flexibility. Explore the financial challenges, lessons learned, and resilience required to navigate business hardships.
How do you keep pushing forward when things don’t go as planned? I really respect your honesty in sharing this—it’s not easy to talk about the struggles of running a business.
The part about relying on a single source of income really hit home because it’s such a real challenge. It’s inspiring to see how you’re using this as motivation instead of letting it stop you.
Looking forward to seeing how your journey unfolds!
My answer might sounds cheesy, but how I keep pushing forward is because I REALLY don’t want to give up my lifestyle and freedom… My WHY is strong.
A few things to nuance my answer:
I have savings, so I can afford to try to make things work for a few months (and my wife is still making some money - not enough to cover our expenses but still).
I’m trying to plant and cultivate multiple seeds so I don’t make the mistake again to only rely on 1 source of income.
We have established a plan and a timeline to generate more income. If it doesn’t work out I will look for a remote job (probably part-time).
But yeah, it’s tough, it’s not easy every day - I had a couple of shitty days last week wondering WTF I was doing with my life to be honest. But I have a good support system to cheer me up when I feel like that.
Appreciate your thoughts and honesty.
Thank you Nicholas 🙏
