Every month, I’ll share a more personal look at what’s been going on: where we’ve been, what I’ve been working on, and a few things I’ve discovered or enjoyed along the way. ✨

This isn’t just a travel diary or work recap, it’s a chance to go deeper into the real-life moments behind the posts. Sometimes there are wins, sometimes challenges, but I always try to share something honest, useful, or thought-provoking from what I’ve experienced.

I’ll also include a few of my favorites from the month: books, podcasts, articles, or tools that stood out and might inspire you too.

This post is just for paid subscribers, thank you so much for your support! 💛

I’m keeping these monthly updates behind the paywall for two reasons. First, they’re a lot more personal, it’s a real look into my life, and having it just for paid subscribers makes it feel a bit more protected and private. Second, these take me quite a bit of time to put together. I want them to be complete, thoughtful, and fun, with stories, photos, and things I’ve enjoyed throughout the month. Your support helps me make the time to create something meaningful here. 🙏🏼

WE ARE MOVING TO THAILAND!

… but first, let me rewind a little 😉

November 1st to November 7th: Indonesia 🇮🇩

For our last weekend in Bali, we went back to our favorite beach club, La Brisa, for a relaxing afternoon. No laptops this time. We went with a friend from South Korea who we met at our accommodation and a friend of his.

We had drinks and conversations about traveling and life in the pool while enjoying the sunset 🌅.

📍 La Brisa, Canggu, Bali

On Tuesday, November 4th, we took a taxi to Sanur to meet Substack friends in person! We met up with

Tanessa
and
Flynn
and their 2 cute daughters. They’re also a nomad couple in their 30s… so it was lovely to connect with like-minded people on the road (more often than not, we tend to meet much younger or older people… it’s not often we get to meet a couple our sort of age).

PS: I highly recommend Tanessa’s publication - The Freedom Dairies.

We had lunch together, then went for a walk along the coast. We stopped at a turtle sanctuary which was super cute. It was our first time in Sanur (on the East side of the island), and it was nice. Much quieter than Canggu, more our vibe!

During our walk, I checked my phone for the 87 millionth time… and the email was finally there: DTV APPROVED! I got my visa 🥳 WE ARE OFFICIALLY MOVING TO BANGKOK BABY!!!
