Life Behind the Posts – May 2025
This one features geckos, fish sandwiches, and a 10-year anniversary
Every month, I’ll share a more personal look at what’s been going on—where we’ve been, what I’ve been working on, and a few things I’ve discovered or enjoyed along the way. ✨
This isn’t just a travel diary or work recap—it’s a chance to go deeper into the real-life moments behind the posts. Sometimes there are wins, sometimes challenges, but I always try to share something honest, useful, or thought-provoking from what I’ve experienced.
I’ll also include a few of my favorites from the month—books, podcasts, articles, or tools that stood out and might inspire you too.
This post is just for paid subscribers—thank you so much for your support! 💛
I’m keeping these monthly updates behind the paywall for two reasons. First, they’re a lot more personal—it’s a real look into my life, and having it just for subscribers makes it feel a bit more protected and private. Second, these take me quite a bit of time to put together. I want them to be complete, thoughtful, and fun, with stories, photos, and things I’ve enjoyed throughout the month. Your support helps me make the time to create something meaningful here. 🙏🏼
May 1st to May 31st: Germany 🇩🇪
We started the month exactly where we left off. After spending a couple of days in Hannover, we headed to our next stop: Bremen. We arrived on a Sunday, which meant most things were closed, so we had a chill day—relaxing in our room for a while before heading out to get a sense of the city.
Bremen‘s city center/old town is actually pretty small. Between a walk on Sunday and a few hours on Monday, we saw pretty much everything we wanted to. It was similar to the other cities we’ve been exploring—lots of greenery and a nice old town with pretty architecture. The main square with the church, cathedral, and city hall was particularly pretty.
